PlayWithJSON grants you a free, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to use our web utilities for:

  • Personal, educational, and academic software engineering.
  • Commercial software development, testing, and production API workflows.
  • Generating mock data, schemas, and converting configuration files.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property Ownership

You retain 100% of all intellectual property rights and ownership over any code, JSON strings, schemas, CSV tables, or other data you enter into PlayWithJSON. We claim no ownership, copyright, or moral rights over your data. Because our tools operate 100% client-side, your intellectual property never leaves your machine.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

PlayWithJSON is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we take pride in rigorous compliance with RFC 8259, JSON5, JSONPath, and JSON Schema specifications, we do not warrant that our tools will be entirely error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every possible edge case.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlayWithJSON and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our tools, including but not limited to loss of data, production bugs, or system downtime.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
